Доведено, що території пріоритетного розвитку є одним з типів спеціальної економічної зони. Запропоновано визначення понять “спеціальна економічна зона” та “вільна економічна зона”. Main theoretical approaches of conceptual determinations of the special economic zone and the free economic zone are analysed in the article. The character touches and distinctive features of these areas are also discovered. It is proved the priority development territory is the types of the special economic zone.
