Розглянуто співвідношення між поняттями «ситуація вибору», «ситуація ризику» («ризикова ситуація») та «ризик». Досліджено сутність поняття «валютна експозиція». Наведені авторські визначення зазначених понять. The research of essence of concepts «risk» and «currency risk» is carried out in the article. The relations between concepts « situation of choice», «risky situation» («situation of the risk») and «risk» is considered. The essence of concept «currency exposure» is investigated.
