Prospidine has a unique mechanism of antitumor action which is not yet sufficiently clear. The main targets of the action of most antitumor drugs are DNA and RNA, it seemed necessary to study first of all the interaction of prospidine with the components of nucleic acids. Mass spectrometry methods provide a unique opportunity for molecular specific analyses of anticancer drug interaction with components of nucleic acids.
