Relevance of research the history of judicial eloquence, whose roots date back to antiquity, due to the fact that the phenomenon of competition, based on judicial rhetoric even nowadays forms the features of social life. Since ancient times, people compete with others in different areas of life, including the courts, which have to defend their own interests. Judicial rhetoric can be seen from the ontological position, through the prism of philosophical and ethical issues, the struggle between good and evil.
