Анализируются экспериментальные данные о степени повреждения (дробления) транспортируемой сахарной свеклы, о влиянии на этот показатель элементов проточной части. На основании анализа экспериментального материала делается вывод об экономической нецелесообразности использования насосов свободновихревого типа для гидротранспорта такого продукта. Experimental data of the damage rate (crushing) of the transported sugar beets and the influence of the flowing part on this indicator are analyzed. Based on the analysis of the experimental data the conclusion of the economic inexpediency of vortex pump's use for hydraulic transportation of this kind of product was drawn.
