The basic information components of subsystem are databases of characteristics and 3D models for extruders, knowledge base for extruder choice. The subsystem is adjusted to production method and type of film, type of design problem, limiting values of economic, technological and geometrical criterial restrictions. It is used in CAD system for productions of polymeric materials to synthesize new productions and readjust existing productions to new types of materials.
