The paper studies the theoretical foundations of the financial analysis of the bank. In order to determine the nature of the bank's financial analysis there have been used theoretical and practical approaches. Authors define the role of financial analysis in the system of financial management of the hank. According to the results ot the study there have been determined the nature and elements of the financial analysis of the bank.
