The template role of the host polymers in anionic form was studied at pH = 7 and pH = 12. Linear Polyacrylamide and star-like copolymers Dextran-graft-Polyacrylamide after alkaline hydrolysis were used as matrices. Silver colloids were studied by UV-Vis spectrophotometry just after synthesis and in 3 months. It is shown that branched polymer matrices are more efficient in comparison with linear one for in situ silver nanoparticle synthesis. The pH value affects the process of formation was investigated.
