Проведено оцінювання глибини фінансового сектору України та визначено її вплив на економічне зростання країни. The scientific and methodological approaches to the assessment of the financial sector are presented in the article. It is presented essential characteristics of "financial development" and "local financial development" as part of assessing the financial sector of the country. Also are systematized approaches of the evaluation of financial depth as generalizing characteristics of the financial sector.
