Author discusses the possible projection of the Christian social teaching of the changing social landscape. The author defends the thesis that modern Christianity freed from the excessive power of history-past and turns to history-future, and open for a new historical creativity. After all, the world is post-Christian because it already was (almost) a Christian, has already experienced the “delights” of Christian socio-political and economic experiments. The main trouble is not that the Christian influence was small, it was quite a lot, but the nature of this effect is controversial, and the results are questionable. Inconvenient fact of plurality and non-Christian world makes it impossible exclusive projects strong Christian influences in political and economic aspects.
