Прослідковується історія його становлення та розвитку. Відзначаються особливості, головні риси. Виконуючи в суспільстві різноманітні функції, відеоарт виступає в ролі інструмента соціального взаємовпливу, творця нової віртуальної реальності, технології самоідентифікації митця, літописця альтернативної культури. Аналізуються твори відомих майстрів відеоарту: Білла Віоли, Ширін Нешат, Мони Хатум, Домінік Гонзалес-Фьорстер. The article refers to a type of modern art – video art. The history of its formation and development is traced. The features and main characteristics are observed. Video art works by famous masters: Bill Viola, Shirin Neshat, Mona Hatum are analized. The emergence of video art is to some extent a consequence of technological progress. Using special equipment allows to sharpen perception of the viewer to the situations depicted, giving the impression of a particular depth, richness, psychology. Performing a variety of functions in society, video art serves as a tool of social interference, the creator of a new virtual reality technology of self-identity of the artist, the chronicler of alternative culture. Within a short period of its existence, video art emerged in the creative direction of media art. The problem of video art as the identity of the artist is most clearly embodied in the works of Iranian artist Shirin Neshat and Lebanese artist Mona Hatum. popup.nrat_date 2025-03-24 Close
