Fracture mechanisms for both irradiated and non-irradiated samples, changes in the structure and chemical composition were investigated. The thermal model describing the beam-metal interaction was developed based on the hyperbolic relaxation heat transfer equation, weakly coupled theory of thermoelasticity and Stefan problem. We used the finite difference method to perform calculations according to this model. We determined experimentally as well as numerically the areas of modified and non-irradiated material, localized the quenched, heat-affected and shock-wave-affected zones. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-12 Close
