Автором визначені проблеми валютного законодавства як засобу державного регулювання валютних відносин. Проаналізовано роль валютного законодавства як засобу державного регулювання на кожному етапі розвитку валютних відносин на території України у період з 1917 року до нашого часу. Досліджено основні періоди та ключові моменти в розвитку валютного законодавства на території України. Наданий перелік основних нормативно-правових актів, які регулювали відносини з валютою і валютними цінностями в кожен період розвитку валютного законодавства на території України. Як результат виокремленні головні риси валютного законодавства кожного періоду. Висунуто гіпотезу про існування зв'язку між законодавством про грошовий обіг і валютним законодавством. Визначено основні напрямки розвитку валютного законодавства на території України. Запропоновані шляхи вдосконалення валютного законодавства України. In the thesis it is analyzed foreign exchange legislation formation in territory of Ukraine, and also communication between historical and political conditions of development of the state and foreign exchange legislation development in territory of Ukraine is specified. The author determines problems of the foreign exchange legislation. The role of foreign exchange legislation as state regulation is analyzed in the each stage of development of currency relations in territory of Ukraine during the period since 1917 by our time. The basic periods and the key moments of development of the foreign exchange legislation in territory of Ukraine are researched in the thesis. There is the list of the basic regulatory legislation that regulated relations with currency and currency values during each period of development of the foreign exchange legislation in territory of Ukraine. As result the main lines of the foreign exchange legislation of each period are allocated. The hypothesis about communication existence between the legislation on monetary circulation and the foreign exchange legislation is pushed. The basic directions of development of the foreign exchange legislation in territory of Ukraine are specified.
