У науці існують два шляхи щодо його вирішення: ототожнення цих понять і їх розрізнення. На думку О. Шпенглера, історія культури може бути представлена лише як сукупність локальних культур, що виникають послідовно. Для А. Тойнбі всесвітня історія постає у вигляді сукупності історій самостійних “цивілізацій”. Співіснування цих двух концепцій і є темою даної статті. The article analyzes the most important problems of modern culturological knowledge about the essence and relationship of such phenomena as culture and civilization. In science, there are two ways to solve it: the identification of these concepts and their distinction. According to O. Spengler, the history of culture can be represented only as a set of local cultures that arise consistently. For A. Toynbee, world history appears as a set of histories of independent "civilizations". The coexistence of these two concepts is the subject of this article. popup.nrat_date 2025-03-24 Close
