The purpose of article was to study the occurrence of the state financial and economic audit and its role and impact on the enterprises of public sector of economy. The author examines the experience of state financial control in democratic countries, namely the scope of control; especially the organization of control; principles of financial control system; basic principles of the independence and accountability of higher authorities and their powers. Робота присвячена вивченню виникнення і розвитку державного фінансового та економічного аудиту. Метою статті є вивчення виникнення державного фінансового та економічного аудиту та їх роль на підприємствах державного сектору економіки.
