In addition, the burning of fossil fuels is the main cause of air pollution. The main natural agents to reduce the impact are coniferous forests, which absorb and accumulate carbon dioxide. But unfortunately, more than 100 years of forest management due to consumer approach has lead to decrease by 40% the total forest area of the Ukraine. Ministry of Forestry of Ukraine was established only in 1966, it main task was to restore the forests.
