Подано проект мовного закону руських (українських) послів на засіданні Державної Ради у Відні 1909 року, яким намагалися врегулювати складні мовні суперечки в Австро-Угорщині. Описано мотиви руських (українських) послів щодо врегулювання мовного питання. З’ясовано погляди тодішнього центрального уряду на мовну проблему в державі. Показано небажання окремих депутатів Державної Ради справедливо врегулювати питання функціонування краєвих мов на території, де проживали різні народності. Установлено, що, незважаючи на вагомі мотиви руських (українських) послів, мовне питання в найвищому законодавчому органі держави так і не було вирішено. The complicated linguistic situation in the multinational Austrian-Hungarian monarchy is briefly analyzed. The project of language law by Rus (Ukrainian) ambassadors at a meeting of the State Council in Vienna in 1909 with the help of which they tried to solve complex language disputes in Austria-Hungary is presented. The motives of Rus (Ukrainian) ambassadors to resolve the language issue are described. The views of the then central government onto the language problem in the country are cleared. The reluctance of some deputies of the State Council to fair solve the issue of local languages functioning on the territory inhabited by different nationalities is shown. It is revealed that the language question in the highest legislative body of the state was not solved despite the good motives of Rus (Ukrainian) ambassadors. popup.nrat_date 2025-03-24 Close
