Наголошується на тому, що спортивні програми, на відміну від загальноукраїнських каналів, де вони почали зникати у зв’язку зі значним посиленням розважального контенту, мають місце на місцевих телеканалах. Проте у сумських телемовників, які продукують програми на спортивну тематику, є чимало проблем із тематичним наповненням, формою подання матеріалу, обранням жанру. The features of the functioning of sports journalism on the local television (for example, on such Sumy channelsas “UA:Sumy”, “ATV”, “STS”, “Vidikon”) are investigated. It is noted that the sports programs, unlike the national Ukrainian channels, where they began to disappear due to the significant increase of entertainment content, are broadcasted on the local TV channels.
