Зокрема, проаналізовано аксіологічний модус з актуалізацією його основних складових. Визначено, що складниками аксіологічного модусу емпатії є позитивна психологічна оцінка, негативна психологічна оцінка, позитивна етична оцінка, позитивна телеологічна оцінка та негативна телеологічна оцінка. В статье исследуется концепт ЭМПАТИЯ как когнитивно-коммуникативное образование (воплощённое в современном английском языке существительным empathy и его производными) с привлечением модусного структурирования. В частности, проанализирован аксиологический модус с актуализацией его основных составляющих. Определено, что составляющими аксиологического модуса эмпатии является положительная психологическая оценка, негативная психологическая оценка, положительная этическая оценка, положительная телеологическая оценка и негативная телеологическая оценка. The article provides a comprehensive analysis of EMPATHY concept as a cognitive and communicative formation (embodied in modern English language by the noun “empathy” and its derivatives), using modus structuring. In particular, the axiological modus of empathy is singled out with actualization of its basic components. The object of our study is the EMPATHY concept, lexicalized in modern English-speaking discourse. The subject is its analysis in terms of cognitive and discursive paradigm of linguistics. The purpose of this article is to analyze the axiological modus of empathy, which seems to be its evaluative conceptualization in the human mind. It has been found out that the components of axiological modus of EMPATHY concept in the expanded format are: positive psychological evaluation, negative psychological evaluation, positive ethical evaluation, positive teleological evaluation, and negative teleological evaluation. Positive marking of ethical constituent of axiological modus is prototypical for the noun “empathy”, unlike psychological and teleological components, where both positive and negative evaluation modifiers have been found. For the noun “empathizer” positive psychological, ethical and teleological evaluation modifiers are prototypical. This allows concluding that the noun “empathy” concedes to the noun “empathizer” in the intensity of positive evaluation.
