Узагальнюються причини зменшення кількості й зміни характеру сатиричних публікацій у пресі. Простежуються особливості модифікування сатиричних жанрів під впливом інших жанрових груп. Вказується на активність зображальних сатиричних жанрів, насамперед графічних і фотографічних (карикатура, шарж, фотоколаж, фотомонтаж, «фотожаби»). Доводиться потенціал сатиричної публіцистики, яка нині концентрується у партійних друкованих органах, неформальних виданнях. Дослідження сприятиме визначенню аспектів подальших досліджень сатиричної публіцистики. The article focuses on the modern tendencies of satire publicism development suffering the stage of new standards formation. The reasons for decreased number and the change of nature of publications in press are summarized. The peculiarities of satire genres modification under the influence of other genre groups are traced. The author specifies the activity of figurative genres with graphic and photographic ones in the first place (caricature, grotesque, photocollage, photomontage, «photoshopped images»). The potential and viability of satire publicism currently concentrated in party publishing bodies, informal publications are proved.
