Її використання буде ефективним і для закладів фінансово-кредитної сфери, що сприяє актуальності проведеного дослідження. У статті досліджено теоретичні основи концепції стратегічного управління закладами фінансово-кредитної сфери. Це здійснювалося на основі методів аналізу і синтезу щодо термінологічного змісту поняття "стратегічне управління закладами фінансово-кредитної сфери". Проведений аналіз дозволив дослідити основні підходи до трактування сутності стратегій, управління та менеджменту, стратегічного управління та його еволюційне формування як окремого методу управління. Отримані результати дозволяють визначити роль та місце стратегічного управління у фінансово-кредитній сфері. The concept of strategic management is widespread in the world and is used by business entities in different fields of activity to make long-term decisions more effective and to achieve their goals. Its use will be effective also for institutions of financial and credit sphere, which promotes the relevance of the research. The author analyzes the theoretical basis of the strategic management of financial and credit institutions concept. The methods of analysis and synthesis were used in the context to research of the terminological content of the term "strategic management of financial and credit institutions". This allowed author to explore the main approaches to the interpretation of the essence of "strategies", "management", "strategic management" and its evolutionary formation as a separate management method.
