Головними причинами, що диктують необхідність такої співпраці, отримання небаченого досі розвитку інтеграції країн світової спільноти в економічній, культурній, політичних областях і пов’язана з цим інтернаціоналізація злочинності. Існують різні міжнародно-правові форми співробітництва держав в сфері боротьби зі злочинністю. Вони можуть здійснюватися в рамках : 1. діяльності різних міжнародних організацій; 2. прямих контактів між державами на основі багатосторонніх і двосторонніх угод. International cooperation in proceedings in criminal cases is part of a general international cooperation among States in combating crime. The main reasons that such cooperation still get integration of the international community in economic, cultural and political fields and the associate dinternationalization of crime. There are various forms of international legal cooperation of the states in the fight against crime.
