Доводиться необхідність детального аналізу проблем, безпосередньо пов’язаних з поняттям і змістом функцій держави в контексті трансформації їхньої природи. Автором аналізується процес становлення наукових знань про функції держави в радянській теорії держави і права, висвітлюються сучасні концепції щодо розуміння поняття та сутності функцій держави. Дослідження проводяться на стику різних наук, зокрема юридичної й економічної. Зосереджується увага на тому, що проблема визначення функцій держави постійно знаходилася в центрі уваги юридичної науки, їй присвячувалося багато фундаментальних досліджень. Зроблено висновок, що сьогодні багато питань щодо функцій держави наукою вирішені, щодо інших - дослідниками знайдений гідний компроміс, але залишаються й такі проблеми, щодо яких зберігаються суперечливі позиції. Автором наголошується про необхідність подальшої розробки проблем функцій сучасної держави, тим більше в умовах переоцінки деяких фундаментальних положень щодо її ролі, соціального призначення та сутності. This article explores theoretical and legal characteristics of the modern statefunctions. The necessity of a detailed analysis of the problems directly related to the concept and content of statefunctions in the context of the transformation of their nature. The author analyzes the process offormation of scientific knowledge about the functions of the state in the Soviet theory с law and examines the current concepts in understanding the concept and nature of statefunctions. Research conducted at thejunction of’various sciences, including legal and economic. Focusing attention on the problem of determining thefunction of the state was always the focus of legal science, she was devoted much basic research. The conclusion is that today many questions about the functions of the state science resolved, on the other - the researchers found a decent compromise, but there are also those problemsfor which remain controversial position.
