The article is devoted to the question of positive and negative factors of development of Internet commerce in Ukraine. Interpretation of the terms «trade», «trade activity» and «electronic commerce». It was established that when conducting business, business entities use e-commerce as a mechanism for the implementation of such activities. The models of activity of enterprises engaged in Internet trade are considered. It is pointed out that the main factor for the activity of enterprises is the completeness of information about the company, its openness and accessibility.
