Today, the population of people with special needs among the inhabitants of the planet reaches the figure of more than a billion people or 15%. The number of people with special needs in Ukraine is about 2.9 million. Almost 80% of this population are working age persons. But, unfortunately, it`s unfortunate to talk about equal opportunities for employment, adapted infrastructure and education for them. People with disabilities are not simply depend on out-of-pocket help - they are not in a position to overcome the informational, physical and psychological barriers. This state of affairs is shameful and unacceptable for a civilized European state. Because disability is not a verdict, people with special needs can and will become full-fledged and highly effective members of society, excellent specialists, socially active and cheerful people who can inspire a lot of people, including absolutely healthy members of our society. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-12 Close
