Актуальність теми дослідження зумовлена недостатньою кількістю текстів художньої літератури в навчальних посібниках та підручниках з іноземної мови. З огляду на означену актуальність, метою роботи постає дослідження теоретичних та практичних основ використання тексту художнього твору як об'єкта комунікативної діяльності, створення текстотеки на цій основі й розробка методики роботи з художнім текстом в процесі вивчення іноземної мови. Досліджено принципи, етапи та функції навчання комунікації іноземною мовою, виявлені принципи і критерії відбору художніх текстів і вимоги до них. Перманентне використання художніх текстів у вивченні іноземної мови сприяє формуванню інтересу до читання іноземною мовою. Language of the literary texts contributes to the development of linguistic culture, enrichment students’ language knowledge, acquisition of oral speech skills. The relevance of the topic is determined by the insufficient number of literary texts in textbooks and foreign language textbooks. Taking into account the above-mentioned relevance, purpose of the research is to study theoretical and practical bases of using literary text as an object of communicative activity, creation of a textbook on this basis and development of a technique for working with literary text in the process of foreign language learning. We studied principles, stages and functions of teaching foreign language communication, determined principles and criteria of literary texts selection.
