Авторами здійснено аналіз розуміння терміну «саморегулювання» у зарубіжній літературі, а також підсумовано його загальне розуміння. Встановлено, що появу поняття «саморегулівна організація» на нормативному рівні пов’язують із політикою Нового курсу Теодора Рузвельта у США. The article is devoted to the study of the genesis of legal regulation of the activities of self-regulatory organizations in the securities market in Ukraine. The authors analyze the understanding of the term "self-regulation" in foreign literature, as well as summarize its general understanding.
