Доводиться, що текст "Листів з хутора" побудовано на принципах постмодерністської гри з читачем, який має розкодувати певні смисли та алюзії. Аналізуються прийоми містифікації і "маски", за допомогою яких вибудовується образ містифікованого (фіктивного автора), його роль і функції у творі. Розглядаються такі способи впливу на читача: фрагментація тексту, повторення, інтимізація оповіді. The ways and methods of communication with the reader, the author’s strategies of addressing to the recipient, attracting his attention, technologies to "promote the idea" and creating an atmosphere of trust and understanding are considered, as well, as their advantages, disadvantages and mistakes. The author proves that the text of the "Letter from the Farm" is based on the principles of postmodern play with the reader, which should decipher certain meanings and allusions. The techniques of hoax and "mask" are analyzed, by which the image of the mystified (fictitious author), its role and functions in the work are constructed.
