Основна частина дослідження присвячена аналізу закономірностей виникнення розглядуваного інституту, передумов сучасного етапу його розвитку, а отже, узагальненню чинників, що обумовили становлення та остаточне закріплення на законодавчому рівні статусу державної мови у контексті творення національної мови народу України, утвердження української політичної нації. У межах даної статті значну увагу приділено характеристиці етапів генезису інституту державної мови, починаючи з ІХ і до початку ХХ століть. Автор The article clarifies the peculiarities of the formation of the constitutional and legal institution of the state language in Ukraine. The main part of the study is devoted to the analysis of the laws of the institute, the prerequisites of the current stage of its development, and hence the generalization of factors that led to the formation and final consolidation at the legislative level of the state language in the context of creating the national language. Within the limits of the given article considerable attention is paid to the characteristic of stages of genesis of institute of the state language, since IX and to the beginning of XX centuries.
