The project contains a description of the process of gypsum production in which the swinging mill is involved, and its purpose and place in the technological scheme is indicated. The aim of the work is to select options for upgrading the coupling to the drive based on the analysis of patent information sources. The modernization of the coupling is proposed for the purpose of increase of productivity and reduction of specific energy consumption for the process of shredding material.
