У процесі дослідження визначено головні типоформуючі ознаки, що в різній послідовності свого впливу формують тип сучасного медико-біологічного видання як сегмента інформаційного простору. Вони включають видавничу форму, періодичність, тривалість виходу, регіон розповсюдження, формат, обсяг; ознаки функціональні, організаційно-редакційні, аудиторні, інформаційні. The purpose of the article is to analyze the journal "World Of Medicine And Biology" to determine the characteristics of the type-forming features of modern medical and biological publications as a segment of the information space. The stated topic in this context is considered for the first time, which will expand the concept of the scientific periodical’s functions of medical and biological content, its typeforming features, and the problem range of topics. This is the relevance of scientific research. In the course of the research the main type-forming features are determined, which in different sequence of their influence form the type of modern medical-biological publication as a segment of information space.
