В даний час можна стверджувати, що Україна має сучасну правову базу для захисту та забезпечення прав інтелектуальної власності, яка, як правило, відповідає міжнародним вимогам. Водночас значна кількість контрафактної та фальсифікованої продукції, що продається в Україні, а також обсяг її реалізації завдають значної шкоди не лише економіці, а й іміджу нашої країни. Тому проблема захисту прав інтелектуальної власності митними органами стає все гострішою в останні роки, оскільки ступінь порушення цих прав швидко зростає. The current stage of development of society is characterized by increasing attention to intellectual property and, accordingly, to its protection. At present, it can be argued that Ukraine has a modern legal framework for the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, which, as a rule, meets international requirements. At the same time, a significant number of counterfeit and counterfeit products sold in Ukraine, as well as the volume of its sales cause significant damage not only to the economy but also to the image of our country.
