Предметом дослідження є етапи перекладознавчого трактування та трансмісії, процеси конвергенції та дивергенції компаративів, детермінації квазісмислу (Tertium comparationis) фактором mentalese (синкрети ословлення ментального компоненту). Мета дослідження полягає у верифікації перекладознавчого аналізу, в осмисленні природи референтів перекладу, в ідентифікації залежності вибору методів від природи номінативних та комунікативних одиниць. The nominative and communicative units are being dealt with in wordcentric and textocentric approaches. The dimensional criteria are backgrounded by linguistic attributes of referents. Investigated words and texts are extracted from the English and Ukrainian discourses. The dominant ontognoseological principle is being verified by the verbal statistic experiments. The nature of translation referents backgrounds the choice of applied methods. The verbal and mathematic statistics visualize the results of our linguistic experiment.
