В роботі досліджено аспекти князівської генеалогії та її вплив на процес об'єднання Русі.Авторами було класифіковано функції князівської влади як у дохристиянський, так і в християнський періоди, встановленно пріоритетність регулятивної функції в процесі державотворення та вплив прийнятя християнства на формування нових функцій держави. In the monograph, the formation and development of the princely power and the flow of power to the power-building processes in Kiev Rusi can be seen. The analysis of the process of converting Pivnochi and Pivdnya Rus to a single state is given.
