The object of development is the extruder WP45×25. The subject of development is a head of an extruder. The purpose of the development is the design and modernization of the extruder, in particular its head. The paper presents technical characteristics, the design and operation principle of the production unit of polyethylene film are considered, parametric, kinematic, thermal and strength calculations of the worm are performed, confirming the operability and reliability of the machine design. In the project, a literary-patent search was made for the designs of an aggregate for granulating polyethylene in order to select a variant for modernizing the press. Also in the bachelor's diploma project the compliance of the developed machine with the requirements of labor protection was considered and recommendations were given on the installation and operation of the device for the manufacture of the flange. popup.nrat_date 2025-11-05 Close
