The analysis and systematization of the main approaches and indices of happiness level assessment that exist in the world practice is carried out and their advantages and disadvantages are revealed. The analysis and assessment of the dynamics of happiness in the world and separately in Ukraine with the help of the World Happiness Rating and identified economic and non-economic reasons that affect the level of happiness of man and the country as a whole. The main directions of model improvement both at the state and local levels are determined. Кваліфікаційна бакалаврська робота присвячена дослідженню функціонування моделі економіки щастя та факторів, які впливають на рівень щастя людини. Проведено аналіз і систематизацію основних підходів та індексів оцінки рівня щастя, які існують у світовій практиці та виявлено їх переваги і недоліки. Проведено аналіз і оцінку динаміки щастя в країнах світу та окремо в Україні за допомогою Всесвітнього рейтингу щастя і виявлено економічні та неекономічні причини, які впливають на рівень щастя людини і країни в цілому.
