The purpose of development is the design and modernization of the extruder, in particular to equip it with an additional drive. During the design, a patent search was conducted, which allowed to determine the direction of modernization and to carry out the design development of the modernized worm press. Thermal calculations were performed for the basic and modernized extruder, which confirmed the efficiency of modernization, which provides a stable temperature regime of the extruder, which contributes to high quality products.
