The first two questions in our heads are: “which one is better?” and “which one should I use?”. In this thesis, we show answers to these questions on practice. After overview of existing methodologies and implementa-tion choices, we design and implement the most representative and valuable versions of a stateful TCP echo server. Then we test the server based on five major metrics: throughput, latency, simultaneous client connections number, CPU usage, and memory consumption.
