Штампи гарячого деформування в процесі експлуатації перебувають в складних і жорстких умовах навантаження, для яких характерні збільшені діючі напруження, високі температури нагріву, циклічний вплив напружень від знакозмінних зусиль деформування, хімічний вплив матеріалів, що піддаються гарячому деформуванню. Тому для штампів гарячого деформування є актуальним їх зміцнення та підвищення робочих властивостей, довговічності, економічності та надійності.
