Матеріалом дослідження послужили Різдвяні послання королеви Єлизавети II; Дональда та Меланії Трамп; Джастіна Трюдо. В ході дослідження використовувалися наступні методи: описовий та метод спостереження - для оцінки особливостей ритуального жанру різдвяного послання; теоретичний аналіз і синтез - для систематизації та узагальнення отриманих даних; контекстуальний та інтерпретативний аналіз - для встановлення функціонального навантаження мовних засобів з метою впливу на адресата; когнітивно-прагматичний аналіз інтерпретації − для виявлення потенціалу впливу використовуваних лексичних одиниць. The aim of the article is to conduct a thorough analysis of the linguistic means used by top officials in a Christmas message to efficiently influence an addressee. The researched material is the Christmas messages of the Queen Elizabeth II; Donald and Melania Trump; Justin Trudeau. In the course of the study the following methods were used: descriptive and observation − to estimate special features of the ritual genre of a Christmas message; theoretical analysis and synthesis − to systematise and generalise the data; contextual and interpretative analysis − to establish functional load of linguistic means in order to influence an addressee; cognitive-pragmatic interpretation analysis − to identify the impact potential of lexical units employed. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-12 Close
