The administrative and territorial reforms carried out in Europe and their consequences for local and regional autonomy are analyzed. It was concluded that the existing budget restrictions, tendencies of national governments to recentralize powers, decrease the powers of local and regional authorities, endanger the achieved level of decentralization and subsidiarity. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-12 Close
