Ю. Федьковича Description Prediction of the course of lung cancer is one of the key problems of oncology. Scientists are trying to find optimal, affordable and cost-effective markers. One of the promising directions is the definition of inflammation indices, the main among which is the systemic inflammatory reaction index. The aim of our study is to establish a cut-off point for the systemic inflammatory response index and determine its ability to predict recurrence of non-small cell lung cancer. The study is retrospective. The analysis was carried out on the basis of the medical documentation of 104 patients with stage IV-IIIA non-small cell lung cancer who received specialized treatment at the Sumy Regional Clinical Oncology Dispensary in the period from 2014 to 2018. Determination of the sensitivity of the method and the cut-off point was carried out using ROC analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 27 program. As a result of the study, it was determined that the index of systemic inflammatory response determined before the start of adjuvant chemotherapy can be used to predict the recurrence of lung cancer. Patients with a systemic inflammatory reaction index ≥ 0.95 have an unfavorable prognosis and an increased risk of recurrence. Прогнозування перебігу раку легень є однією з ключових проблем онкології. Вчені намагаються знайти оптимальні, доступні та економічно ефективні маркери. Одним із перспективних напрямків є визначення індексів запалення, основним серед яких є індекс системної запальної реакції. Метою нашого дослідження є встановлення точки відсічення для індекса системної запальної реакції та визначення його спроможності прогнозувати рецидив недрібноклітинного раку легень. Дослідження є ретроспективним. Проведено на основі аналізу медичної документації 104 хворих на недрібноклітинний рак легень ІВ-ІІІА стадії, які отримували спеціалізоване лікування в Сумському обласному клінічному онкологічному диспансері у період з 2014-2018 роки. Визначення чутливості методу та точки відсічення було проведено з використанням ROC-аналізу за допомогою програми IBM SPSS Statistics 27. У результаті дослідження було визначено, що індекс системної запальної реакції, визначений до початку ад’ювантної хіміотерапії може бути використаний для прогнозування рецидиву раку легень. Пацієнти, індекс системної запальної реакції котрих складає ≥ 0,95 мають несприятливий прогноз захворювання та підвищений ризик виникнення рецидиву. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-12 Close
