The process of forming complex compounds mainly involves the exchange of water molecules that are in the coordination zone of the central ion or atom for another ligand introduced into solution. The work on new explosives stems from higher expectations for the safety of using as well as storing these substances. The compounds discussed have the potential to exhibit high-energy properties, the main idea of the work was to get rid of toxic metals such as lead or mercury from the various energetic composition [1]. The work involved the synthesis of energetic coordination compound that includes a perchlorate oxidizing anion, metal (copper, iron, nickel and zinc) and a complexing agent, 1,3-diamidionopropane (DP). Parameters such as explosion temperature, friction susceptibility were determined during the experiments. The structures of the obtained compounds were confirmed by infrared spectroscopy and by scanning electron microscopy. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-13 Close
