Завданнями роботи є визначення сутності та принципів забезпечення сталого економічного розвитку регіонів; дослідження механізму формування й реалізації регіональної політики сталого розвитку в Україні; проведення порівняльного аналізу економічного розвитку регіонів; виокремлення стратегічних напрямків сталого розвитку Південного регіону; визначення пріоритетних напрямів регулювання соціально-економічного розвитку України та її регіонів. Предметом дослідження є теоретико-методологічні основи, методичні підходи та науково-практичні рекомендації щодо визначення пріоритетних напрямів сталого розвитку регіонів України. Об’єктом дослідження виступає процес забезпечення сталого розвитку регіонів. The purpose of the work is to study the essence of sustainable development, generalize and systematize the main priority areas of research in the context of sustainable development of the regions of Ukraine. The tasks of the work are to determine the essence and principles of ensuring sustainable economic development of regions; study of the mechanism of formation and implementation of the regional policy of sustainable development in Ukraine; carrying out a comparative analysis of the economic development of the regions; identification of strategic areas of sustainable development of the Southern region; determination of priority areas of regulation of socio-economic development of Ukraine and its regions. The subject of the research is the theoretical and methodological foundations, methodological approaches and scientific and practical recommendations for determining the priority areas of sustainable development of the regions of Ukraine.
