Celery has emerged as a widely adopted distributed task queue framework within the Python ecosystem. To ensure its reliability and correctness, robust test- ing mechanisms are essential. Therefore pytest-celery pytest plugin was designed for Celery integration testing. The objective of this research is to analyze the cur- rent Celery architecture, identifying potential areas for enhancement so that the cur- rent testing infrastructure for Celery can effectively meet the evolving demands of modern software development. We will cover the creation of new features in the pytest-celery and their usage in the Celery-based application. By contributing to the pytest-celery project and by optimizing the Celery integration tests, we aim to improve the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of the Celery framework. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-09 Close
