Фразеологічні інновації розглянуті як відображення змін сучасних реалій, як засіб здійснення номінативної функції ФО та як джерело поповнення фразеологічного й мовного фондів. Це один з найпростіших та найдоступніших стилістичних засобів досягнення ефекту впливу на велику читацьку аудиторію. Його використання в пресі має систематичний характер. Представлені найбільш поширені групи фразеологічних інновацій та їх приклади з англомовного публіцистичного дискурсу російсько-української війни 2022-2023 років. The master's thesis considers phraseological innovations as a reflection of changes in modern realities, as a means of realizing the nominative function of the idioms and as a source of replenishment of phraseological and linguistic funds. This is one of the simplest and most accessible stylistic means of achieving the effect of influence on a large readership. Its use in the press is systematic.
