У світі, де переклад важливий для культурного обміну, відсутність якісних перекладів стендап-комедій може обмежити розуміння гумору виступів англомовних коміків українським глядачем. Основна проблема полягає у недостатньому дослідженні адаптації стендап-комедії та специфіки перекладу цього жанру. Робота має на меті розробку ефективних стратегій перекладу для забезпечення точної передачі смислу, емоцій та гумористичної цінності англомовних стендап-спешлів на українську мову. Дослідження мультимодальності цього жанру покликане виявити вплив мовних та невербальних засобів на створення комічного ефекту. У ході дослідження було проаналізовано виступи англомовних стендап-коміків, виявлено вербальні та невербальні засоби вираження комічного та розроблено методичні рекомендації для використання результатів дослідження у вивченні практики перекладу та створенні стендап-виступів. Робота фокусується на мовних та позамовних аспектах створення комічного в стендап-комедії, виявляючи мультимодальність жанру. Результати дослідження можуть використовуватися в навчанні практики перекладу, стилістики, лінгвістичної антропології та надавати теоретичну основу для написання стендап-спешлів. The master’s thesis “Multimodality of stand-up special: philological and translation aspects” is dedicated to the study of English-language stand-up specials and their translation into Ukrainian. In a world where translation is important for cultural exchange, the lack of high-quality translations of stand-up comedy can limit the Ukrainian audience's understanding of the humour of English-speaking comedians. The main problem lies in the lack of research into the adaptation of stand-up comedy and the specifics of translating this genre. The paper aims to develop effective translation strategies to ensure the accurate transmission of the meaning, emotions, and humorous value of English-language stand-up specials into Ukrainian. The multimodality of this genre is studied to identify the influence of linguistic and non-verbal means on the creation of a comic effect. The research analyses the performances of English-speaking stand-up comedians, identifies verbal and non-verbal means of expressing the comic and develops methodological recommendations for using the research results in the study of translation practice and the creation of stand-up performances. The paper focuses on the linguistic and extra-linguistic aspects of creating the comic in stand-up comedy, revealing the multimodality of the genre. The results of the study can be used in teaching translation practice, stylistics, linguistic anthropology and provide a theoretical basis for writing stand-up performances. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-12 Close
