The paper defines how the development of digital technologies affects banking activities, as a process of bank transition that changes organisational activities through the restructuring or implementation of digital technologies. The emphasis is on the study of the banking sector in the context of digital transformation. The purpose and objectives of introducing digital technologies in banking, including the prospects and problems of applying digital technologies in banking in Ukraine, are investigated.
