Джерельною базою є публікації в часописі «Краєзнавство». В першому розділі роботи проаналізовано історіографію проблеми та джерельну бази дослідження. Зроблено висновок, що на сьогодні відсутня праця, яка б висвітлювала історико-краєзнавчий рух на Слобожанщині в XIX - початку XX ст. Також з’ясовано, що часопис «Краєзнавство» є інформантом про основні тенденції розвитку краєзнавства в ХІХ – поч. ХХ ст. на Слобожанщині. The qualification work is a study of the historical and local history movement in the Slobozhan region in the 19th - early 20th centuries. The source base is publications in the journal "Local History". The first chapter of the work analyzes the historiography of the problem and the source base of the research. It was concluded that today there is no work that would highlight the historical and local history movement in the Slobozhan region in the 19th - early 20th centuries.
