The study examines the evolution of the concept of "person with disabilities" in international instruments; provides a general description of the international legal mechanism for the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities; identifies and characterizes the general guarantees of the rights of persons with disabilities in the law of the Council of Europe; analyzes the ECHR practice on the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities; assesses the status of implementation of European standards in Ukrainian legislation and practice, and identifies problems and shortcomings in this area. popup.nrat_date 2025-05-12 Close
